UNICODE CHARACTERS
A severe, smooth monospace for humans reading dense code, mathematics, and technical information.
Ultracode is made to fit more useful information within view while keeping characters, operators, and relationships intelligible. Small text is a normal working condition; the design begins there.
Its severe geometry takes the discipline of bitmap typography into smooth outlines. A lighter default, open counters, and distinct forms for ambiguous characters support close reading. The regular cuts give code room; the condensed cuts conserve horizontal space in tables, labels, and technical drawings.
Mathematical notation, norm bars, arrows, and connected rules extend the vocabulary. Coding ligatures join operators visually while preserving their source characters and cell widths. Every private AI and LLM symbol has a name and a specific meaning. Ordinary text must carry its meaning at small sizes; intricate diagram glyphs can be larger, where their structure has room to be read.

ARROWS / NORMS / DRAWING CELLS
REGULAR / 14 PXUnicode arrows occupy one cell. Coding arrows and double bars retain their original ASCII cells and follow the ligature switch above.
One line equals one em. Corners, tees, crosses and double rules meet at the cell edges.
CODING LIGATURES
ASCII IN / SAME CELLS OUTJoined operator outlines preserve the source characters, selections, and cell widths. Switch them in the type field, or select any operator below to inspect its true outline.

These are unencoded OpenType glyphs, formed from ordinary ASCII by the calt feature. Language syntax determines an operator’s exact meaning; copy and insertion retain the original sequence.

LITERAL UTF-8 / NO BPE MODELEach cell is one Unicode code point with its actual UTF-8 bytes. Real LLM tokenizers group text differently; this is a byte-level illustration, not a model trace or a BPE vocabulary.

Regular, bold, italic, and bold italic. Constant cell advance; coding ligatures span the original number of cells and combining marks keep zero advance.
DRAWING LABELS
The condensed cut advances 5.698 px at 11 px, suitable for dense grid labels and compact technical drawings.
EQUATIONS
The font covers mathematical Unicode. MathJax retains its own equation layout and stretchy operators.
